Terms of Service
These terms apply to centres that subscribe to MyMotherBox, their staff, and the parents and authorised adults who use the Parent App. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
MyMotherBox is software for running preschools, daycares and creches. It includes Admission Desk, Check-in Check-out, Daily Diary, Meals & Naps, Fee Desk, AI Parent Updates and the Parent App, depending on the plan.
Accounts
- The person who signs up must be authorised to act for the centre.
- Centres are responsible for the staff they invite and the roles they assign.
- Keep login details private. Tell us straight away if you think an account has been misused.
Free trial
New centres get a 30-day free trial with all features. No card is needed. At the end of the trial, the centre chooses a plan to continue or the account is paused, and the centre can export its records.
Plans and billing
- Plans are priced per enrolled child per month, as shown on the Pricing page.
- An enrolled child is a child with an active admission at the centre during the billing month.
- Monthly plans are billed each month. Yearly plans are billed in advance for 12 months.
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of an active plan.
Centre responsibilities
- Obtain the consents parents must give for their child's information and photos to be recorded and shared with them.
- Keep authorised pick-up lists accurate and follow the verification steps at the door.
- Give medicines only as instructed by parents in writing, and follow your own medical and safety policies.
- Review every AI-drafted summary before sending it to parents.
- Follow all laws that apply to early years centres where you operate.
Medical and safety information
MyMotherBox records care information entered by staff and parents. It does not give medical advice, diagnose conditions or replace the judgement of staff, doctors or parents. In an emergency, follow your centre's emergency procedures.
AI features
AI Parent Updates drafts text only from entries teachers have made. Drafts may contain mistakes, which is why a teacher must review and approve each one. The centre is responsible for messages it sends.

- Do not use the service to share content about a child with anyone other than that child's parents and authorised staff.
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful or inappropriate content.
- Do not try to access other centres' data, interfere with the service or reverse engineer it.

Ending the service
